A heavy, large cast metal horse-drawn carriage or stage coach with 2 horses and a driver. Originally a cast iron lamp and now a lovely shelf piece or a door stop. The lamp socket and wires and the tinted glass window panes have been removed, and at some point the metal was tastefully hand painted entirely in black with white, gold, green, and red details. Most likely made in the 1930s and hand painted in the 1950s or 1960s. Spanora made some unusual, Art Deco style metal lamps in the 1920s and 1930s. Measures 16 3/4 long x 7 1/2 high x 2 1/2 deep. Weighs 4 lbs 4 oz. In good preowned condition. Original lamp parts and glass windows were fully removed at some point and are not included. The little metal pieces that held the glass in place in the back are still there but are straightened and painted over. The black paint covers the entire piece, including the bottom. Not much wear on the paint. There is minor oxidation or rust on the bottom and edges, but no disintegration in the paint or the metal. See images for details.
