Grace Drayton CAST IRON TWIN CATS DOORSTOP ORIGINAL PAINT GOOD CONDITION

Vintage cast iron twin cats doorstop. Painted pink & blue, white & black. Measures 6 1/2″ Tall X 4 3/4″ Wide X 2 Deep. This doorstop is in good original condition. This is a patented Grace Drayton design. We found very minor light surface rust on parts of the back and bottom of base. There is age related wear to the paint through out the piece. Nicest Vintage Original Metalcraft Pair Iron Ducks 1950 Creampuff Condition

Dad collected only from private homes circa 1950 – 1980 pre computer era. In short they were top shelf. Each duck of the pair has a pronounced serial numbered dated 1950. The taller duck stands about 11 1/2 inches tall , 12 in long base 4 1/4 wide 5 1/4 long and weighs a hefty 11 pounds. The shorter duck stands about 7 1/8 tall 12 in long base is about 5 in by 5 in. And weighs about 12 lbs. Both ducks were part of my great aunts collection that dad acquired from her around 1968. Please note the picture of the Williamsburg Kittinger authentic tilt top table in photos. The ducks came with the table back in the day. The ducks are in truly cream puff condition with very minut nicks and rust. Note that this is the original factory finish. PAINT IS ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH! They have been never been repainted or altered. I believe these to be the nicest original pairs ever seen and now being over 70 yrs old. True rare remnant pieces of American Quality Artisanship.
