Wonderful Antique Boston Terrier doorstop. It is OLD/ORIGINAL, untouched. There is a collar that has been on this for at least 40-50 years, (see under the collar photo). You could certainly add a hanging “name tag”.

Cat is in excellent condition. Rare glass eyes, green with vertical slits. Has paint loss, see photos. Made in the United States by Hubley or Albany Foundry. Victorian cast iron fox bust door stop with original paint, circa 1880 – 1920s. This version retains its backplate which has an option for this piece to be mounted. There is also a manufactured hole where the foxes mouth is; most likely a spool would be inserted inside and the thread would be released from the foxes mouth. This piece is not marked but, could possibly be from Carron. The fox would be placed nose-up towards the door, with the chin against the door. Great condition: Retains its original backplate. 6″ tall, 6.5″ wide, and 6 deep. Weighs: 6lbs 1.7 oz.

Up for sale is a wonderfully large antique original early solid cast iron figural doorstop of the Duke of Wellington. It’s a nice quality casting, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in nice condition and measures 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide.
