DESCRIPTION: Hubley’s superb and rare Standing Geisha doorstop. Measures about 10.75 tall. Unmarked, as is correct for this piece. Comes from a local Dallas estate, guaranteed authentic and old and check out the pics and know that you won’t be disappointed. Offered at a very nice price with reasonable Best Offers invited. The pics tell the rest of the story. The previous owner glued a piece of felt to the underside to protect the floor as shown, but this is a very minor issue, noted only for completeness. No damage or repairs. Retains the majority of its original paint with a fine oxidized patina and no re-painting as shown. The pics are very honest and show the condition well and you will receive the exact item shown in the pics. Please consider the pics to be part of the description. It is a dog, some sort of pointer, very large at 15″ long x 8 1/2″ tall and weighs 7 lbs 14.5 oz! The quality of the details in the casting and the way the 2 halves fit tightly together speak of the quality of this piece. This is a wonderful depiction of a pointer retriever dog at full point.
