It’s a nice quality casting, is an extremely heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of a flower basket and, is in nice condition, and measures 12 inches tall by 11 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches back to front. Nice antique cast iron large size Dachshund doorstop in all original paint, patina & condition. This is a nice and hard to find example. The Dachshund has lots of nice castings, the paint is all original and it is wearing the signature red collar seen on most all of the dogs made by Hubley. This is a large size and it is quite heavy. The casting is marked “Made in USA”. The Dachshund is about 9 1/2″ long x 2 3/4″ x 6 1/4.
