Up for sale is a wonderfully large antique original early 20th century solid cast iron figural doorstop. It’s a nice quality casting, is an extremely heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of Lord Nelson, is in nice condition, and measures 16 inches tall by 15 3/4 inches wide by 3 inches back to front. A vintage heavy solid cast iron black retriever dog door stop. Note the solid base plinth and original paint. Unsigned, dates to the 1930’s – 40’s. Measures a full 7 ½ inch long, 4 ¾ inch tall and 1 7/8 inch thick. Weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces before boxing. Condition is great as there are NO chips, nicks, cracks, broken or repaired parts present.. Natural age and usage scratches present (see close-up photos). Photos add and aide in the description.
