Cast Iron Green Glass Eyes Figural Cat Door Stop / Andiron Authentic Antique

Originally designed as an andiron, this piece of late 19th century American was turned into a dorp stop. It can still be used in front of the fire grate where the dim firelight seems to create the mysterious glowing and “following eyes” of the watchful feline. 17.5 length / height when laying flat. When standing, the leaning height is 16.25″ tall x 9.75″ wide at the base, and 5 deep from front of base leg to back of back leg. The cast iron cat Figural is a quarter inch thick, and the depth of the cat figure is 1.75 thick from the nose to the back of the figure. The andrion figural cat weighs a full 6.5 lbs. With the box and packaging, the weight is a full 8 lbs. This awesome estate sale find is offered “As Is” and is not refundable nor returnable. RARE LARGE antique 1800’s solid cast iron figural man with hatchet doorstop

Up for sale is an extremely rare antique solid cast iron figural doorstop. The stop is in the form of a man swinging a hatchet over his head in front of a large tree. He stands on a routed half circle base with lettering on the front and a hallmark on the back that are a bit illegible from age. It’s made of very thick iron, is extremely heavy, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The casting is a rare form, is in good antique condition, and measures 15 1/2 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches back to front. Original Antique Dog Cast Iron Doorstop Door Stop Figural German Shepherd Hubley

This is a nice original antique figural HUBLEY cast iron door stop. The door stop depicts a seated German Shepherd dog (see photos). The item is heavy and made of solid cast iron (see photos). The item is by Hubley and the model number #275 (see photos). The doorstop is marked on the back with the Hubley model number of 275 in the metal. The doorstop is from the US and it is American in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item in total measures 9.25 inches high, it is about 2.75 inches from the front edge to the back side at the base and it is about 6.75 inches wide at the base. Rare antique Hubley cast iron Japanese girl instrument heavy figural doorstop

Up for sale is a wonderful antique original Hubley solid cast iron figural doorstop. It’s a nice quality casting, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of a Japanese girl sitting on an ornate embossed pillow playing a string instrument. It is in nice condition with original paint and measures 7 inches tall by 6 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches back to front. The piece has some paint loss as seen in photos.
