RARE Antique #1277 Victorian Woman Gypsy Peasant Cast Iron Figural Door Stop

It has it’s original silver base coat, and traces of the colored detail paint. It could be re-detailed with the correct coloration using these clues. It has a nice weight to it, certainly still able to stop a door, and no major corrosion.

Rare antique handmade 1900’s heavy solid cast iron figural tiger lion doorstop

Up for sale is a rare antique handmade early 20th century solid cast iron figural doorstop. It’s made of very thick iron, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It depicts a human form with a lion head and mounted to an iron base. The doorstop measures 9 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches back to front. There are a couple holes on the base as seen in photos. Thank you for visiting “Dusty Treasures ” and please feel free to browse through. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Listed is an antique Figural Cast Iron Doorstop featuring a Lighthouse and the Lighthouse Keeper’s Home along the shoreline. The Doorstop measures approximately 6 inches tall, 7-3/4 inches across and 3-3/4 inches deep. It’s heavy; weighing a little over 6 pounds without packaging. It’s in nice condition for its age. Research indicates it’s from the 1920’s. The paint is still pretty much intact. Some missing here and there. Some rust is bleeding through as well. Adorable antique CAST IRON Spooky ARCHED BACK BLACK CAT Cute KITTEN Figural DOORSTOP probably made by Hubley, circa 1900. Measures over 10 inches tall and weighs over 4 pounds. Mostly hollow, cast in two parts joined by a bolt and hex nut thru middle of cat’s body. Painted glossy black, with green eyes and traces of red at mouth. Very good, antique, as found condition. Some minor paint loss/fading. This kitty has been a sweet and loyal fire-side companion, gracing my cozy hearth for many years. Alas, sudden hardship forces me to rehome him. His name is Sebastian.
