Antique Cast Iron Hubley Large 11 Tall Door Stop Doorstop White Figural Rabbit

Cast-Iron Rabbit Door Stop. From my Mothers’collection. Beautiful antique Hard To Find these in any condition.. You don’t want to miss out on this one. This is an Authentic early 1900s cast iron Hubley or other maker figural Rabbit Door Stop. It measures 10-1/2 long and 11 1/8 Tall.. Very sturdy and heavy for its size.. Normal light surface wear, with some old chips in the paint. Photos do represent it well.. I would say that this Rabbit Cast Iron Door Stop was mfg. In the 1930’s.. The face looks like the Hubley’s that we have had before, but the front legs/paws look a bit different.. So I cannot guarantee it as Hubley , but I can say it is from the 1930’s and was made by one of the foundries that produced these figural Door Stops.. It is a hollow 2 piece mold cast.. And has a hole in the bottom. And Please ask any questions.. The listing will be removed. No breaks, cracks or repairs.. The Door Stop has normal wear , with some surface chipping to the paint associated with age.. Please view the gallery photos , they are part of the description. And message with any questions.. The Best Hubley Boston Terrier Bull Dog Figural Doorstop Amazing Paint Patina

All photographs are part of the description. This pooch is the cutest ever with his red lined mouth and eyes, and painted red studded collar. It looks good but could have been added. Made entirely of cast iron, he measures 10 inches tall, approximately 10 inches wide, and is very heavy. This very popular Hubley form is often seen with just black and white paint, and usually quite worn or even all rusted. You are the experts here but I just think the paint and patina is incredible, and that he has great character. You can see in the photos that he has lost some of the plaster filler behind his ears, does have some paint loss and also some light surface rust. I just have never seen one that has just the right amount of white showing through to make the ribs so pronounced. It is a fine example that would complete even the best of collections. I did not find a signature, but there is no doubt it is made by Hubley. Please review the photos for a complete description. Original antique hand painted heavy cast iron figural windmill house doorstop

Up for sale is a stunning original antique solid cast iron figural door stop. It is beautifully painted by hand, has original paint, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of a windmill structure and is made from very thick iron. It’s in great condition and measures 7 inches tall by 7 inches long by 2 1/2 inches thick. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable.
