This vintage iron door stop features a beautiful and elaborate cherub holding fruit with scroll and motifs in a rococo style design. Made from cast iron and produced by the noteworthy California home decor and accessory design house, Three Hands Corporation, this door stop is gorgeous. The door stop measures 16.25 inches tall, by 8 inches wide, by 2.25 inches deep (thick), and is a heavy 7 lbs. The condition is very good with a few areas of wear typical with items of its age. JUDD at their NEW BRITAIN, CONNECTICUT foundry. Finest Quality, HEAVY weighs 8 lbs. Please see close-ups to appreciate the boy’s face, how “huskie” he is, his pants are split open at the top (lol), he’s wearing knickers and his socks have fallen down! Doorstops like this just aren’t made anymore. Generous 10 3/4” tall, with a “HORSESHOE SHAPE BASE MEASURES 3 3/8″ deep by 3 1/4 wide. CONDITION: EXCELLENT OVERALL CONDITION.
