Antique Hubley Cast Iron White Percheron Horse Statue Doorstop, Circa 1930’s

Very nice hard to find Hubley white with gray markings cast iron horse with blue ribbon tail statue, doorstop. This statue has normal paint wear (please see pictures) but in great condition, no breaks or other damage. Measures 9.5″ long x 7 7/8″ tall x 3 5/8 wide at rear and weighs 4 lbs. Antique Cast Iron HUBLEY Horse Doorstop Leather Bridle

Antique Hubley Cast Iron Horse Doorstop. This horse has a leather bridle that appears to be very old. The bridle would have been a later addition, but is so well done and so darn cute! Overall the paint is in very good condition with very minor wear. There are some specks of white from camera flash and not paint loss. The length of this piece is 11 1/2″ x 10″ tall. Antique Kings Genius Saddlebred Kentucky Saddle Horse ASB Cast Iron Doorstop

Historic American Saddlebred Stallion Cast Iron Doorstop (1938). By Rife-Loth of Waynesboro, VA. This is a fabulous Cast Iron Doorstop featuring the ASB American Saddlebred Stallion, King’s Genius, born in 1924, sired by Bourbon King and out of Princess Eugenia. King’s Genius was a influential Saddlebred sire, sometimes called “The Greatest Show Horse of All Time”, contributing to the breed in the bloodlines of generations of champion Saddlebred horses. He earned his own champion status as well, including being named 1933 World Champion Five Gated Saddle Horse. Grandsire of CH Wing Commander and was a three time great-grandsire to Supreme Sultan. This doorstop is in very good condition with good color and nice aged patina. There is some paint loss around the base of the hooves and the base itself. There is a tiny piece of green felt stuck on the front base. The base front reads “Kings Genius”. Waynesboro, VA and the numbers 18-1 are inscribed on the back of his neck.
