Vintage Punch & Judy Door Stops Cast Iron Large Bronze Copper Color Weathered. This obviously has been in the weather. I did not attempt to clean the oxidation off or either figure, because I didn’t want to affect the value of the items. They both are of the color of bronze/copper, but the oxidation tells me they are cast iron. Still a very cool set of door stops for the right collector. We strive for 100% 5 star reviews. Rare Antique Hubley Huge Size Fox Terrier Cast Iron Door Stop w/missing tail. Looking Straight, red collar Original paint and patina. Belonged to my grandmother. And it’s missing its original tail my grandmother inserted a mock-tail. Contact a cast iron antique repair company to see if they can match the original tail from many photos available on the Internet. Rare, hard to find antique Hubley toy company manufactured Lancaster, PA. , original cast iron circa 1920’s – 1930’s, used aged condition (see photos MISSING THE TAIL). It is heavy and sturdy and retains darkened original factory paint as shown. Has surface paint wear as shown. Measures 12 ” long, x 10 ” high, x 4 front to back. Weighs 10 pounds prior to packaging and has not been washed, cleaned, oiled, or waxed.

Cast Iron Scotty Dog Doorstop by Hubley c. This has been in my family since 1930, so i would guess its a 1929 or 1930 build. Height: 8.5 in (21.59 cm). Width: 11 in (27.94 cm). Depth: 4 in (10.16 cm). It is in original condition, no touch ups. Its missing 1 screw, threads are in good condition as the bolt did not break. Must have fell out over the years. I could replace the bolt with something identical for a dollar or two but i would rather leave it untouched. I didn’t want to part with this, as its been passed down from my great grandfather to my grandfather, to my dad, and to me. Pictured is the yellow Hubley insignia under the neck area.

Here’s an old cast iron figural CAT doorstop, manufactured by HUBLEY and probably produced in the first quarter of the 20th century. While this certainly not the most uncommon shape produced by Hubley… It’s the most interesting paint coloration I’ve seen on the model. Most seem to be white, but this is a really eye catching blend of a greenish yellow, brown and a little black. At some much earlier some it has had a little touch up.. I’m not sure how extensive, but I don’t think enough to change the original character of the piece. Lots of little paint chips have been knocked away showing that the piece served its original purpose well. Nice strong Hubley mark on the base. Size is 5-3/4″ X 10-1/2″ X 5-1/2.
