His winning of the’Grand Slam’ in 1930. Whimsical big head golfer in knickers and bowtie. Fabulous piece to proudly display in your collection. Backside hard to read, two words. First we can not make out, second is studio. These were originally made into ashtray by bolting. An ashtray onto the front, this appears to have never. Antique Cast Iron Doorstop. C1930 Taylor Cook No2. Makers marked on backside. Wonderful design in original painted surface. Harder to find original old taylor cook door stoppper. Please view all pictures to appreciate the piece. Exhibits wear associated with use as a doorstop over the years. Surface wear and paint loss noted in various areas.
