Wonderful Pair Vintage Cast Iron Doorstops of Sailors Excellent Condition 13 3/4

Wonderful matching pair of vintage doorstops by Littco from PA. The shape is twin sailors in white uniforms with blue scarfs and white hats. Heavy cast iron painted in several colors. Great patina of age. Very good condition with few chips to paint. Height of each is approximately 13 3/4 inches. Would also make great bookends. Pair Antique Bradley & Hubbard Parrot Bird Doorstop Cast Iron Cockatoo/Parakeet

These are a Pair of Antique Cast Iron Parrot Doorstops. They are in original unrestored condition. The Parakeet in the Ring is a Bradley & Hubbard, it has a brick sized solid base with an etched diamond design on top and the original rubber bumper doorstop. All original paint in good condition on both sides of the bird. The base is 7″l x 3″w and is 8″h with a 5 3/4″w circle. The other bird is a Cockatoo with all original paint which is a little worn. Rare Pair ANTIQUE CAST IRON CHAMPION GREYHOUND Whippet Dog Doorstop Andirons

Rare Pair ANTIQUE CAST IRON CHAMPION GREYHOUND Whippet Dog Doorstop Andirons. Offered for sale is this great pair of antique cast iron greyhounds. They are Victorian, the greyhounds are both champions of England’s coursing Waterloo Cup – Colonel North’s Fullerton (who won in 1889, 1890, 1891, and 1892) and Fearless Footsteps (who won in 1900 and 1901). I think they were intended to be doorstops or andiron guards. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. SIZE: They are just over 10.25 inhces long, and are approximately 8 inches tall. They weigh approximately three and a half pounds each. CONDITION: There is wear to the paint and some corrosion most notably on the bottoms. Please see the close up pictures. MARKS: There are no maker’s marks, but one is titled “COL NORTHS FULLERTON” and the other “FEARLESS FOOTSTEPS” as shown. L photos below can be enlarged by clicking on them.
