ANTIQUE GOLD PAINTED Cast Iron HUBLEY. Metal DOG- Sitting WIRED HAIR FOX TERRIER PUPPY. Cast Iron DOG of a sitting Wired-Haired Fox Terrier Puppy (more rare than the standing adult). It is a solid piece (not hollow). It has been cold painted GOLD and it probably isn’t the original paint which was probably cream colored. HOWEVER, the eyes and nose are painted black; and there is a hint of a black line under the nose depicting the mouth. It is in excellent condition considering the age. Please see pictures for better descriptions. 4.75 tall (at the head). 5.5 long (front leg to back of tail). The dogs are a variety of breeds, sizes and metals. Most are unknown makers, but the banks and this doorstop are HUBLEY. These are some of my best dogs. Nearly ALL of my collectibles have been stored in a cabinet enclosed in glass and wood so that dust should not be of concern. I do not charge for packing materials since I currently have plenty of these– I just charge for actual costs ONLY. ALL SALES are FINAL UNLESS MISREPRESENTED. Typical signs of age, there are signs of little paint flicks / splatters, rustic areas, not really a distract. Overall good aged / vintage condition as found. A vintage heavy solid cast iron black retriever dog door stop. Note the solid base plinth and original paint. Unsigned, dates to the 1930’s – 40’s. Measures a full 7 ½ inch long, 4 ¾ inch tall and 1 7/8 inch thick. Weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces before boxing. Condition is great as there are NO chips, nicks, cracks, broken or repaired parts present.. Natural age and usage scratches present (see close-up photos). Photos add and aide in the description.

Antique Original HEAVY Hubley Cast Iron Frog Doorstop PAPERWEIGHT, Five Pounds. Wonderful antique solid cast iron Hubley doorstop paperweight measuring about 5″ in size by 2-1/2″ tall. Featuring a molded frog resting on his haunches, detail is simple yet recognizable. Weighing about five pounds, this held open the Florida room door at my Grandmother’s home and date to the 1920s. Condition is great with no chips, cracks, or damage other than paint rubbing and wear – does not detract. A substantial piece – perfect for a garden setting, filling the center of a birdbath, holding open a heavy door, decorating a book stack or even used as a paperweight. For sale is an antique cast iron lying down lion door stop / paperweight / bookend. Painted white at some time. Unmarked as far as I can see. Age is probably late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Condition is excellent with only some paint wear as seen in photos. Measures 2 3/4″ in height, 2″ wide and 5 1/2 in length. Great old collectable for a door stop, paperweight, bookend, zoo, circus or just an animal collector! Please Note: Most of my items are vintage or pre-owned and may show signs of wear, age and use. Here is a rare Hubley “Flapper” Cast Iron Duck Paperweight or Doorstop designed by Grace Raynor. It is marked Flapper on the front and GR (c) 1922 on the back. It measures approximately 4 and is in excellent condition with signs of use consistent with its age. Please message me with any questions. Since condition is subjective and means different things to different people. Here is a short list of terms we use to describe our items. Expect the piece to have some condition issues such as minor chips/flea bites, slight discolorations, flakes or hairlines, rips or tears.
