German Shepherd Cast Iron Doorstop Face Forward Not sure of the mfg. Here is a very nice all original cast iron German Shepherd doorstop. This is the harder to find – straight facing doorstop. Size is 13″ across and 10″ tall. Condition is excellent – as seen in the pictures. No breaks, cracks or repairs. Paint is worn in spots. This is a great gift idea for the dog lover. This is a beautiful piece that I believe is a Hubley and not a reproduction as it is put together with a large flat nose screw rather than the Phillips head screw that’s used in reproductions. The bottom of the paws are also filed smoothly, which is an indication of the original. However, there are NO other markings. This is a 2 piece statue that is 8.5 tall and weighs 1.70 pounds. Police Dog Doorstop (1930s). This is a beautiful Hubley Police Dog Cast Iron Doorstop in a handsome black/brown patina’d paint. He is in very good condition for age with some paint loss as shown. He stands solidly and there are no cracks or breaks. The original flat head screw is present. This dog is about 9 1/2 inches long and tall. He weighs 5 1/2 pounds. Thank you for shopping with us.
