Vintage Hubley Cast Iron Boston Terrier Sitting Puppy Door Stop

Little Boston Terrier puppy doorstop. Unmarked but authentic the paper label is missing. Incredibly heavy item for it’s size at approx. The Piece shows a black back and white colored young terrier dog resting on it’s hind-legs. The Figural design shows all its legs, two floppy-ears, dark snout, and a curling tail. A red collar is seen around the dog’s neck. Black paint on the back, and top of the head. White paint on the tip of the snout and under-belly. Measures 5 5/8″ Long x 4 1/2″ High x 2 1/2 Wide. Hubley Cast Iron Yawning Sleepy Puppy Dog Doorstop Door Stop. This is one of the cuter things you will see today. Adorable yawning puppy dog door stop. Look at his half closed sleepy eyes! I was told that this was made by Hubley but it is not marked so I cannot swear to that. His paint is present but there are losses and the rest of it has small cracks in it. Not in the actual door stop just the paint. The paint may have been touched up as seen in the photo. This is the first I have seen of this guy. He stands 6.75 and weighs over 5 pounds. Which is surprising because he is hollow. The photographs we post are used as part of the description as well as what is written. This is an original antique-NOT a reproduction “PUPPO” by Hubley he is a Boston Terrier sitting atop a black pillow (pillows were assorted colors) with a pink ribbon around his neck. Has the bee on his rump. This piece has its original paint- it has not been touched up or painted over. Stands 6″ tall and 6″ wide. Conditionno chips, cracks or repairs, paint loss and rust.
