Here is a scarce antique original cast iron Sleeping Cat doorstop by Hubley, in as found condition. Offered as found, with age associated wear to old painted finish, as pictured. Heavy and solid, cast in two parts. Unmarked, but documented in antique doorstop book published in 1996, as pictured. Please see my other auctions for more vintage and antique items!

2 Scarce Antique Cast Iron Detroit Tigers Baseball Mascot Doorstops or Bookends

This is 2 old Scarce Detroit Tigers Mascot Baseball Cast Iron Doorstops or could be used as Bookends. Tis batting Tiger logo was on the end isle seats in the stadium. Each stands 8 1/4 tall. The 2 together weigh 6 pounds 7 ounces. I think they are from the 1930’s to 1950’s. One shows some minor light surface rust and the base shows some weathering light green paint. Huge Antique Cast Iron Nodder Donkey Doorstop, Late 19th Century, SCARCE

This one is in “as is, as found, as photographed, ” what you see is what you get condition. This girl has her tail, but it has been tacked back on more than once. I have one with possibly original paint and guess what?? There is a metal rod that attaches her head to her body and when she is moved, her head nods. There is rust and remnants of white paint. There are no other breaks or repairs other than her tail. As I said, she’s heavy-14lbs. She measures approximately 13″ nose to tail and is 10 1/2″ high (to the top of her ear). She would be a phenomenal addition to someone’s farmhouse decor. Your friends won’t have one?? And you probably won’t see another one of these for awhile. Antique Japanned Cast Iron Nut Cracker Dog Scarce Find EUC. Outstanding and Beautiful Dog Nutcracker, call the dog anything you wish, just a wonderful looking display nutcracker, weighs 6 lbs. I have only cloth dusted this item, will leave that up to someone else if needed. Signs of past use in the mouth, could use a tooth brush.. Great patina and look. Don’t see any markings or numbers to indicate whom may have made it. 1 1/4 square nut needs added, it looks like it has been missing for a long time, very solid fit to the base as it’s not loose at all! . Measurements are 12″ long x 5″ wide x 6 tall, The tail will stay up if you give a slight push, A magnet does stick to the entire piece. See below please and Thank you. Antique Still Bank, Elf / Gnome, RARE Factory Doorstop Conversion! Very Scarce

This is a original Paint factory conversion doorstop. Ive included a picture of the from the Penny Bank Book that shows this is in fact a very collectible bank from the 1930s. When looking at the Gnome/Elf it appears that the patina is heavier on the left side. Probably was sitting in the same place for a very long time. There is normal wear for its age.
