Antique Hubley Fox cast iron doorstop. Super rare

Antique Hubley Fox cast iron doorstop. Stands eight inches tall. This was a estate barn find. It had about six coats of paint on it. So much that its fine features could not be seen. It has been stripped and glass bead blasted then repainted back to as near as the only one pic I could find would allow. Also has had a repair on the tail. Peter Rabbit Easter Egg Painted Doorstop SUPER RARE Pittsburg Foundry Vintage

Antique, painted cast iron rabbit doorstop holding Easter egg. 11″ tall x 6″ wide. Weighs 92 ounces (5.75 pounds). It is extremely rare and hard to find this particular standing rabbit doorstop. Made of cast iron and hand painted. Similar in quality and style to Hubley but even more rare. I saw this in the second to last photo- on the back- it looks lighter in the sunlight when photographed- the back is a dark rusty color brown as seen in the other photograph and if you look carefully in the middle you can see some of the stamping. This item was made by Pittsburg Foundry, probably located in Pittsburg, TX. I’ve searched extensively online and cannot locate another like it. ANTIQUE BIG RED HUBLEY MAMMY CAST IRON DOORSTOP With SUPER LOW START! MUST SEE

This is almost 9″ tall by 5 5/8″wide. Sorry for some shadow’s in the pictures but condition is clearly shown. I sell alot of antiques and other amazing things so feel free to check out other listings. I’ve had inquiries about whthe paint was original on the two big mammy doorstop auctions and such. I don’t know for positive on anything with these antiques. All I know is they’re hubley and marked. The paint looks original to me but I’m not a professional or experienced so use your own judgement because I’m sure you know better than I do. Thanks again and goodluck. I was contacted by 2 antique professionals after seeing the two mammy auctions and they are saying the paint is original on both of these banks for sure.
