Vintage 1930s Hubley Tiger Lilies 472 Cast Iron Doorstop Door Stop Lily Lillies

RARE HUBLEY “TIGER LILIES” #472 CAST IRON DOORSTOP. The doorstop is referred to in collector books as Hubley’s #472 “Tiger Lilies”. It depicts a bouquet of 3 white tiger lily flowers with yellow stamens and green leaves. The base has an Art Deco look. The doorstop stands about 10 1/2″ tall and measures approximately 6″ wide. The back side is painted white. This doorstop is pictured on page 153 in the book. The back side has the stamped number “472”, the correct mold number for this piece. This doorstop is guaranteed to be a vintage cast iron doorstop and NOT a modern reproduction (this doorstop has not been reproduced). Condition of this vintage doorstop is EXCELLENT. I’m not sure where it’s been stored all these years, but it has been well cared for. The paint has a few nicks and some minor wear, but is almost completely intact. The paint is all original with no touch up. Overall, this doorstop looks fantastic and would make a fine addition to any collection. Please take a close look at the many photos I’ve provided and judge condition for yourself. This doorstop is quite scarce and it’s unlikely you will find a much nicer example. See my other listings.
