Vintage style BOSTON TERRIER Cast Iron Door Stop and Piggy Bank

This little but heavy Boston Terrier doorstop has lived with me for about 25 years. He will need a little clean up in his new home. I believe he is made of cast iron and is very expertly painted. He has nice markings, an ear cocked for doorbell ringing and sports a red collar with gold buckle. He stands 7″ tall and about 7″ long. Vintage Dempster Beatrice, Nebr Cast Iron Horse Windmill Weight Door Stop

Cast iron short tail horse. Has Dempster Beatrice, nebr on both sides of the horse. From research these horses are described as windmill weights or door stops & date back to the early 1900s. It looks like theres different sizes & styles. I see that some have holes through the shoulder, this one does not. The horse is approx. 12 long & 10 high. It shows wear, rust & some discoloration. Wonderful matching pair of vintage doorstops by Littco from PA. The shape is twin sailors in white uniforms with blue scarfs and white hats. Heavy cast iron painted in several colors. Great patina of age. Very good condition with few chips to paint. Height of each is approximately 13 3/4 inches. Would also make great bookends. Vintage Heavy Cast Iron Sealyham Terrier Doorstop Original Paint Hubley c. Condition: Used / Vintage. Many areas of paint have rubbed off. Remaining original paint is crazed. Much of the red paint has faded on the collar. There are areas of very minor rust. The paws show larger areas of rust. This is a beautiful vintage cast iron piece. This rare Hubley Sealyham Terrier Doorstop was created around 1930. Made of heavy cast iron and molded in two pieces, it is fastened together with two flat head screws. Other than the paint and minor rust issues, this piece is in very good vintage condition. The disclosed issues do not detract from the character of this vintage piece. It would look great at your door, on a porch, in the corner of your living room. It’s a fabulous piece of art just the way it is. There are felt circles at the bottom of three paws. Tail to nose – 13″ / 9 1/4″ tall. It weighs over 13 pounds. Sometime we’ll picture a dollar bill to show scale, it is not included with the item. Please give us about 2 days to respond to emails. Vintage Hubley (2 Ladies) Bathing Beauties Doorstop

This is a vintage or antique Hubley?? I have owned it for 30 years. I love this one. I have looked up info on some of Hubley’s doorstops, toys, etc. And have found that some of them have been reproduced. This is in nice shape with paint chips, etc. On the bottom is stamped (C) Fish. In the 1920’s, Anne Fish, an artist and cartoonist, collaborated with Hubley and made a series of comical characters and the bathing beauties was one of them. Everyone of the comic characters will have the (C) FISH stamped on the bottom. 11″ tall and is 5″ wide at bottom. This is a heavy piece. Nice for your collection.
