Vintage hubbley cast iron black cat door stop

This gorgeous extremely rare vintage piece was my great uncles who passed in 2010, he was a collector of antiques. I know it’s old and weighs about 16 lbs. I can not find any markings on it, but as you can see in the pictures it has some rust on the bottom. It has not been painted, touched up or altered in anyway. I did take a dry cloth to wipe off dust that is it! I have carefully researched this cat door stop, it is a highly sought after collectible, the pictures will help tell the story. Hello for sale a vintage Cast Iron HUBLEY Doorstop DOXIN DACHSHUND Dog #326 Made in USA. A true vintage original Hubley with all original paint and NO touch ups. A indoor only kept item. Some light marks from normal house wear. Original flat head screw never opened with made in USA stamp. All edges are smooth with clean even lines at seams. The dog was never cleaned and has no rusting. Measurements are 6 1/4″ tall and 9″ wide. A absolutely beautiful vintage hard to find piece. A excellent condition well cared for vintage item.
