Antique Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Hand Painted Flower Basket Door Stop B & H
This is an Estate Fresh old ANTIQUE BRADLEY & HUBBARD CAST IRON HAND PAINTED FLOWER BASKET DOOR STOP B & H from a long time collector of antiques and artifacts. This was a wonderful sale with great stuff in great condition. This piece is one of those examples. I Believe this to be an all original paint piece. This man collected only the best stuff, and I was lucky enough to get a few pieces from there. This doorstop is marked with the B&H symbol on the back. It shows wear on the front and good wear on the bottom to support that old age. Hard to find them this nice anymore. Not a repo, a genuine late 1800’s doorstop from one of the best makers at the time. It stands 7 5/8″ tall , is 3.25″ deep x 3.5 wide. Any questions PLEASE ask! About 8.5 inches high, hollow yet very heavy casting, about 3.5 inches across octagonal base sphere-ball. No sprinkler hardware present, easy addition. No damage or alteration other than grungy old second coat of garden green paint, solid metal, Nuydea name on back.
