Made by Albany Foundry Company on Van Rensselaer’s Island between late 1800’s and early 1900’s and up for sale is this very rare and hard to find flying witch on a broom cast iron boot scraper and door stop with a green patina that may be oxidation or some sort of paint, I’m really not sure. It does have some areas that it is coming off or has been scraped off. I think it adds character to it. The piece itself has no cracks or chips or damage besides the bit of rust and the green that has come off and should hold a many more doors and scrape a many more boots for years to come.. The lighting highlights the flaws and yes they are there but overall don’t look so severe in person. Its such a fabulous piece that is rare and hard to find and is highly sought after by collectors. It measures about 7 inches at tallest point and 10 inches across across at widest point. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help you with any further information or concerns you may have. I will do my best to help. The item “VERY RARE & HTF Cast Iron Flying Witch Door Stop & Boot Scraper Green Patina” is in sale since Sunday, October 31, 2021.
