A fabulous piece of Americana, this large cast iron doorstop features five Revolutionary War soldiers — two play the drums, and one plays the fife. Most of the piece’s original two colors of blue paint on the soldiers’ uniforms is still intact. The piece has acquired an overall rust patina. The back of the piece is stamped CN. The piece is in age-related condition — the top of the left hand embellishment has broken off, tho it doesn’t affect the piece’s integrity. The doorstop is approx. 11″ long x 8 1/2″ high.
