Hubley Foundry doorstop of a Ringmaster Gentleman with a feather in his hat. REFERENCE: The Doorstop Book by John and Nancy Smith pg 212. Designed by English Illustrator Anne Fish. Signed, Fish & Numbered 269 (tough to read, but it is there). Measures approximately 9.5″ tall with feather x base approximately 4.5″ wide x 1.5 deep. I have taken a number of pictures so youe can see ith has wear and missing paint. Still a lovely item to add to your collection. I did not see many with the yellow jacket, so this color may be a bit rarer than the green. We try to describe our items as best we can and take pictures to help you see any issues we describe. Measuring 10″ tall by 10 1/2″ long and 3 3/4 deep, this Rare, Cast Iron Boston Terrier Doorstop is finely cast and retains its original first polychrome painted surface. This paint is in excellent original condition with only the slightest of surface wear and although the quality is equal to that of Hubley, it is unmarked. There is one missing screw from the bottom back of this flat-back Cast Iron Doorstop, but there are no other problems or any restorations.
