Vintage BLACK AIREDALE TERRIER DOG Cast Iron DOORSTOP. Art Deco design, dog is proudly standing with his tail up. Not marked , but likely made by HUBLEY. Nicely made and detailed, measures approx. 8-1/4″ high, 7-1/2″ wide from tail to nose, 3-1/2 wide at the widest part (back legs). Not perfect, but still a nice piece to add to your collection! Vintage Hubley Mold Signed Iron Art Cast Iron Doorstop-black Cat Green Eyes

This lovely vintage Hubley cat is 10 1/2 inches in lenght and 5 inches wide in its widest part. It has the number cast inside the cat shown in photo. It has its original paint for the eyes and mouth. The short-lived IRON ART COMPANY of Chicago, Illinois bought the mold for Hubley fireside cat doorstop. Iron Art Foundry made few doorstops in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, making mostly trivets, mirror frames, and wall sconces. This vintage piece is signed Iron Art. Vintage cast iron black cat door stop turn of century

This gorgeous extremely rare vintage piece was my great uncles who passed in 2010, he was a collector of antiques. I know it’s old and weighs about 16 lbs. I can not find any markings on it, but as you can see in the pictures it has some rust on the bottom. It has not been painted, touched up or altered in anyway. I did take a dry cloth to wipe off dust that is it! I have carefully researched this cat door stop, it is a highly sought after collectible, the pictures will help tell the story.
