Antique Hubley Cast Iron Doorstop Terrier Airedale Wire Hair Fox Dog Great Paint

Vintage Hubley Quality Airedale Terrier, Welsh Terrier or Wire Hair Fox Terrier, Cast Iron Dog Doorstop. This heavy cast iron decorative door stop believed to be crafted by Hubley in Pennsylvania, USA probably sometime circa early 1930’s. It is cast to depict a terrier in shades of white, brown and black. There is some specks of loss to original paint as can be seen in the photos. Even the tiny white “twinkle” is present in both eyes. Measures 8″ 1/2 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches wide x 8″ inches long. Please see all photos as they are part of the description. Peter Rabbit Easter Egg Painted Doorstop SUPER RARE Pittsburg Foundry Vintage

Antique, painted cast iron rabbit doorstop holding Easter egg. 11″ tall x 6″ wide. Weighs 92 ounces (5.75 pounds). It is extremely rare and hard to find this particular standing rabbit doorstop. Made of cast iron and hand painted. Similar in quality and style to Hubley but even more rare. I saw this in the second to last photo- on the back- it looks lighter in the sunlight when photographed- the back is a dark rusty color brown as seen in the other photograph and if you look carefully in the middle you can see some of the stamping. This item was made by Pittsburg Foundry, probably located in Pittsburg, TX. I’ve searched extensively online and cannot locate another like it.
