Antique Vtg PIRATE GIRL Anne Bonny Cast Iron LARGE Doorstop YELLOW 13.5 Albany

Wonderful and RARE Huge Antique / Vintage PIRATE GIRL Anne Bonny Female Pirate Cast Iron Doorstop Possibly by Albany Foundry. I recently acquired a small portion of the collection of 2 lifelong doorstop collectors from NY. They had traveled the US for over 50 years going to shows and antique shops looking for doorstops to add to their collection. , I was able to pick through the hundreds that were left. Please take a look at my other listings! Last photo is a sample of some I have for sale. This lovely all original doorstop is an extremely rare color variant of Pirate Girl depicting a female pirate in a yellow shirt with a sword, skull & crossbones hat and sacks of gold between her legs with Original Paint! Now this is a rare doorstop to begin with and I’ve only seen a dozen or less examples – but ALL of them had a Red shirt except for one example that is in the Doorstop eMuseum which has a Blue shirt. I have NEVER seen an example with a Yellow shirt and this IS Original Paint. I’m not sure if this was a custom request, a prototype/sample color match, or just an extremely rare color variant! It is a solid construction and is marked “PIRATE GIRL” in embossed letters on the back. I have seen this doorstop advertised as being made by Albany Foundry once or twice but I’m not positive. It’s always nice seeing doorstops this large – they’re a work of art! Its in very nice condition for its age, especially since this is the original paint. Antique Genuine Hubley # 193 Spanish Girl Lady Cast Iron Doorstop Original Paint

For sale is a RARE! Antique HUBLEY # 193 SPANISH GIRL/dancing LADY CAST IRON DOORSTOP with brilliant ORIGINAL paint throughout. Her shawl and fan has the best flamboyant colors of its period, yet has been greatly aged with time. There is a factory number “193” on the backside, a good indication that this is a genuine HUBLEY piece. See Reference on Page 189 of The Doorstop Book. It is found in a New England estate. It measures 9″ tall and 5″ wide at the base. There are some minor paint loss here and there commensurate with age. Please check all photos and zoom in to see details. Antique French Girl Hubley doorstop, circa 1925, 9+ inches

Offered here is a very collectible Hubley doorstop. It is the cast iron “French Girl” and it is marked “23” on the backside. This doorstop is highly prized. Take a good look at the photos. The paint is in very good condition with some age appropriate wear. As you can see from the photos she has had a very gentile life with no face plants. Cast iron with a painted finish. I have included a photo from The Doorstop Book and Bertoia’s Doorstop book. This is far superior to either of the ones in the collecting books. Antique Signed Hubley #296 Cast Iron Doorstop Girl Purse Lancaster Pennsylvania

Late 19th early 20th Century doorstop “296” (see picture #7) signed Hubley (see picture #6). It is about 4″ long x 3 1/8″ wide x 8 tall. It is in very good used condition. There is no damage. There are some small areas of missing/worn off paint. There are some light surface blemishes/stains. There is some light patina. This piece displays very well. My pictures don’t always project the ideal image. I have serious problems with glare and lighting. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, especially photo related ones. I do this often.
