BEING OFFERED IS THIS XXRARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND ANTIQUE ORIGINAL NATIONAL FOUNDRY DESIGN #97 CAST IRON OWL ART STATUE DOORSTOP. THIS PIECE IS HARD TO FIND AS IT WAS ONLY LISTED ONE YEAR (1920) IN THE NATIONAL FOUNDRY CATALOG. IT WAS ONLY LISTED AS A DOORSTOP AND NOT AS A BOOKEND LIKE A LOT OF OTHER NATIONAL FOUNDRY’S ITEMS. THE OQL HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT AND HAS WONDERFUL DETAILS, IT HAS SOME SCUFFS, PAINT CHIPPING AND LOSS WITH SOME MINOR RUST AND A COUPLE OF CASTING FLAWS ON THE BACK, BUT NO CRACKS, BREAKS OR REPAIRS.
