This is a wonderful figural Hubley cast iron black and white Borzoi or Russian Wolfhound door stop #327 in the ultra rare hard to find small sized door stop version (a larger 16 size was more common). It measures about 12″ long by 8″ high by 3 deep, weighs about 4.5 pounds, and is in wonderful condition. This model has the more overall black and white fur, which is all original and untouched. It has excellent detailed workmanship from head to toe. The figural swirled fur and curvature to the back really lend a realistic air to the piece. And her sweet little face and crown of her head are adorable. Her collar still carries the little ring! There are no cracks or other structural damage. The original factory paint is in wonderful condition with tiny chips in several areas (see photos), typical of cast iron collectibles of this age. This rarely seen size is a must for any doorstop or cast iron collector, and for dog lovers too!
