Antique Vtg PIRATE GIRL Anne Bonny Cast Iron LARGE Doorstop YELLOW 13.5 Albany

Wonderful and RARE Huge Antique / Vintage PIRATE GIRL Anne Bonny Female Pirate Cast Iron Doorstop Possibly by Albany Foundry. I recently acquired a small portion of the collection of 2 lifelong doorstop collectors from NY. They had traveled the US for over 50 years going to shows and antique shops looking for doorstops to add to their collection. , I was able to pick through the hundreds that were left. Please take a look at my other listings! Last photo is a sample of some I have for sale. This lovely all original doorstop is an extremely rare color variant of Pirate Girl depicting a female pirate in a yellow shirt with a sword, skull & crossbones hat and sacks of gold between her legs with Original Paint! Now this is a rare doorstop to begin with and I’ve only seen a dozen or less examples – but ALL of them had a Red shirt except for one example that is in the Doorstop eMuseum which has a Blue shirt. I have NEVER seen an example with a Yellow shirt and this IS Original Paint. I’m not sure if this was a custom request, a prototype/sample color match, or just an extremely rare color variant! It is a solid construction and is marked “PIRATE GIRL” in embossed letters on the back. I have seen this doorstop advertised as being made by Albany Foundry once or twice but I’m not positive. It’s always nice seeing doorstops this large – they’re a work of art! Its in very nice condition for its age, especially since this is the original paint. Antique Cast Iron Little Red Riding Hood & Bad Wolf Doorstop Rare #94

I have for your consideration an awesome Red Riding Hood with Wolf cast iron doorstop made by Albany Foundry and is marked 94. She is in marvelous condition, retains almost all of its original paint. The patina is nicely aged and would make a great find for your cast iron collection. She measures 7 3/8 inches high and 5 3/8 inches in diameter. Super Rare The Blue Boy Doorstop by Bradley &Hubbard INCREDIBLE original PAINT

Super Rare – The Blue Boy Doorstop by Bradley &Hubbard INCREDIBLE original PAINT. WOW – Antique The Blue Boy Stamped B&H – ORIGINAL PAINT. This is part of an incredible doorstop collection. The collector only has incredible pieces in amazing quality. The price reflects the rarity and condition of the piece. There is not another known piece in this condition. This is a rare find for anyone’s collection. WHO IS THE BLUE BOY? – Originally c1770 – a painting by Thomas Gainsborough and currently hangs in the Huntington Art Gallery in California. Was the a portrait done of Jonathan Buttall (who originally owned the painting) or possibly just Gainsborough’s nephew in costume? Regardless, this famous paintaing has been done over and over – and in an amazing doorstop by Bradley and Hubbard. An excellent condition cast iron doorstop. The doorstop is cast in the form of The Blue Boy. The Blue Boy is all that you thought with blue dress / white collar. The Blue Boy has some green foliage background by his feet. The base is brown/copper/black to green – sculpted front. The Blue Boy’s face is tan/cream with incredible detail even with Red Lips, black eyes and eyebrows. The back of the piece is painted in green with thousands of dimples. The B&H stamp is located center bottom on the back. The bottom of the piece is covered in felt, the felt is not perfect and has some wear due to its age. Measures 8 1/2″ in height with the base measuring 5″ by 3 1/4. The piece weighs about 3-4 pounds. Has the “B&H” stamped on the back. One of the prized pieces in the collection due to its condition (there are more to come) Condition. This doorstop is in excellent incredible condition with no breaks or repairs. It retains original paint and coloring – incredible color. The colors are bright, vivid, look near perfection on the front… The back is black with some minor wear/rust as is the bottom – expected for something of this age.
